With the structured Basic Skillz class the students will work on martial arts skills and self defense movements that work to build skills such as, focus, teamwork, control, memory, balance, discipline, fitness and coordination. All experience levels welcome.Ĭore Skillz 7 - 12 year olds are becoming more proficient in their overall abilities. The 8 age-appropriate skills that make up the Early Skillz program are kicking, blocking, hopping, running, punching, crawling, rolling and catching.īasic Skillz 5 and 6 year old students make for an incredibly enthusiastic class, they love creativity and problem solving. With that said, a special Martial Arts program that targets their developmental stage and keeps them entertained by introducing early skill based training in Martial Arts has proven to be successful. Kids in this age group tend to have a hard time with structure in a group environment like what is commonly found in most Martial Arts schools. No refunds will be issued for weather cancellations.Early Skillz 3 and 4 year olds love physical activity and anything involving play. There will be one scheduled make-up game for the first game that gets canceled. Games will not be started or continued to be played if a thunderstorm warning, tornado warning, or severe weather warning has been issued by the National Weather Service or lightning is seen in the area. The coaches from each team will conference with the referees to determine whether a game will or will not be played due to weather or playing field conditions. 1st – 6th Grade On game days if it is raining, teams MUST show up at their scheduled game time and field. No refunds will be issued for weather cancellations. Games at this age level that are canceled will not be made up. Soccer will not be started or continued to be played if a thunderstorm warning, tornado warning, or severe weather warning has been issued by the National Weather Service or lightning is seen in the area. Coaches who make the decision to cancel must contact their team at least one (1) hour prior to their scheduled start time. Little Kickers/Kinder Kickers On scheduled days if it is raining, a coach from each team must contact the coach from the opposing team to determine if conditions are safe for play.
